"We invited Bravo Landscapes in during the backend of 2021.  Jim Lorne the proprietor visited, made some detail notes and we agreed he would design our outdoor kitchen.

He did say with the current workload he had it would be the Spring of 2022 when he could commence the work if we went ahead.

Jim stuck to this and didn't let us down, this is quite refreshing currently as many contractors postpone, delay etc.

The plans came through and Jim had grasped all of what we wanted and brought some ideas which we hadn't thought of, one of which was the shape of the bar which we loved and adopted it!

We received the quote and it wasn't the cheapest but because of the professional approach and the fact you are dealing with the 'boss' drove the decision to go with Bravo.

Work commenced and the quality in workmanship was clear.  If there was a problem which inevitably there always is with any build work then it was resolved properly and thoroughly , no bodging!

Because of the different facets tot he build requiring plumbers, electricians etc it's always a worry that if anything goes wrong one will blame the other.  Credit to Bravo they worked well with the other contractors and liaised with them all to ensure the project came together which again doesn't sound complicated but from experience this was appreciated.

Bravo kept us informed through the project of when they would be there, what would happen and when and they delivered the completed project on time.  Jim himself went the extra mile to ensure all work was completed as we had a significant family function, and it was imperative that it was finished.

Our whole experience with Bravo was a good one.  The quality of work, attention to detail the determination to work through issues and find a proper solution was impressive.  We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bravo Landscapes from our experience."

"After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at finding a landscaper in our area that gave us any confidence we came across Bravo Landscapes and decided to give them a try as everything that we saw on their website looked promising. We set up an appointment with Jim and knew from then that we’d finally found the people we needed. Jim asked us what we wanted from the space and because we weren’t 100% sure and were looking for some inspiration he was happy to introduce ideas of his own and showed us photographs of other gardens he’d done and basically helped us answer all of the questions that needed answering. The proof of the success of the first meeting was in our second meeting as Jim brought us sketches and ideas for how he interpreted our first meeting and these were promptly given the go ahead. We were offered the chance of a revision in case there was anything we may have wanted to change but we were that happy with the first attempt that none were needed, all that was left was to confirm materials such as pavers, screening, lighting, plants etc.

One of the main reasons for us choosing Bravo Landscapes was the fact that not only does Jim come out and do the consultations and drawings etc with us but he also does the build himself with his in-house team meaning that he sees the job throughout all of it stages from start to finish whereas other landscape companies that we’d looked at outsourced the build side of things. Jim and his team did a fantastic job of the build and were all very polite, helpful and hard working. Having Jim there throughout meant that communication was always open and little tweaks and questions could always be easily and promptly addressed.

I had to wait about 6 months after first contacting Bravo Landscapes before Jim and his team could do my garden makeover because they were so busy; usually a good sign that they are good and I wasn't disappointed.  It took a while to get my design right - both in terms of the structure and the budget - but once agreed upon it was all systems go.  Jim's team of lads are super; hard working, skilled, polite and cheerful, even in some of the dreadful weather they had to endure throughout the fortnight in December it took to undertake the redesign.  Jim was also on site a lot to make sure everything was spot on and no stone was left unturned as far as accuracy and finish were concerned.  There was a lot of mess as the team had to totally dig up and clear both the front and back gardens before the new garden could be "installed" and, generally, the place was left in good order each evening.  The "new" garden is everything I had hoped for and more and already looks fabulous in the depths of Winter so will look even better as it takes shape in Spring and Summer.  So thanks to you all, including Helen, who seems to work quietly but efficiently behind the scenes!

"We demolished & re-built an old outbuilding at the end of our garden, a lot of the work was carried out by ourselves and the result was a lovely place for outdoor living. Initially it was our intention to plan and carry out the external works ourselves, however, whilst looking for ideas we came across the Bravo Landscapes website. It was clearly outstanding from anything else we had seen. As a result we called Helen and she arranged for Jim to visit us for an initial consultation. Jim listened carefully to our requirements and subsequently returned with a proposal that really went beyond our expectations. There were some changes to trim the design to our budget but eventually an agreement was reached between us and a start date agreed. Jim and the boys turned up when he said they would. Despite awful weather on the first day they soldiered on manfully. The great thing about these guys is you can work with them all. There were some glitches in the process but we were all able to collectively overcome them. Changes along the way were no trouble and we were kept well informed about everything that was done before any key decisions were made. All in all a very smooth process with a stunning end result. The landscaping compliments the new building and we now have a beautiful area that we can finally enjoy to the full. Bravo are the elite in what they do, their work is first class and we are so pleased that we got them involved. " Jim and his team transformed our garden from what was basically a blank canvas of a lawn and a wasteland of a side garden resulting from an extension to our house. We now have a modern, usable garden which compliments and is befitting of the property that it surrounds. We had already had garden design plans drawn up independently, but in hindsight I think we could have had Jim as he was so good at offering ideas and tweaking our design to one that would work, whilst remaining true to the original design. He took time to discuss building materials for the hard landscaping, providing material samples and photographs, and where possible, site visits to completed projects to see pavers and so on. The work involved thorough preparation of ground work such as digging out proper foundations for the patio and so on. It was no trouble for Jim to add to the work as it evolved, as ours was a large project we thought of additions as we went along. Not least the fact that we'd got a new puppy so Jim built a secure fence with gates that weren't in the original design. Our garden involved reshaping and providing a set border for the rear lawn, raised decking, extensive patio with planting areas, areas laid to aggregate plus a second circular patio to catch the last of the evening sun, and a vegetable garden consisting of a series of raised beds made from railway sleepers. The side garden consists of a contemporary cedar fence to screen my washing line and chicken coop, a herb garden, pergola, water feature with stepping stones and the construction of a contemporary rendered wall behind which the pump for the water feature is housed. The whole project took the best part of a month, during which time the hardworking team were there every day whatever the weather, always very amiable which is important when you have people working around your home. Jim wasn't an 'absentee boss' he was very hands on and was present almost every day that the work was taking place. Also he was mindful of ways in which we could save money such as upcycling existing pavers. Whilst we didn't have Bravo Landscapes' full planting service, they included sourcing and planting of 9 huge Box balls which create an impressive approach to the front of our property. We are very pleased with the overall quality of the finished product and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bravo to anyone. We are going to take our time to choose plants and garden furniture but in the meantime Bravo have created a fabulous garden that we are going to enjoy for many years to come. "

"Now I know why you are called Bravo! We have to say ‘bravo’ to the team that has totally transformed our back garden.

Our sad saga began when the fish in our pond had gone for dinner – an otter’s dinner! Then the fountain started clogging up (again). Then there was a leak, which we fixed. Then there was another leak and we noticed the pond lining was becoming brittle. On top of that the cement under the paving slabs around the pond was coming away and the slabs themselves were becoming more and more uneven.

What were we to do? It was time to call in the ‘B Team’! Along came Jim, who listened to our predicament. It was a case of creating a new pond or doing something completely different with the area. After a degree of pond-ering we decided on the latter and gave Jim an idea of what we wanted. He came up with an imaginative design incorporating our vision – and more. We had a plan.

Helen kept in touch to inform us when the work would be carried out and then Jim arrived with three great lads and a big skip. After day one we thought ‘What have we done?’. The garden was stripped bare and looked like a building site. But in just two more days the garden had been transformed. And as they worked away tirelessly, the odd tweak here and there to the original plan allowed the project to develop into a masterpiece, all carried out with professionalism and to the highest standards.

Gone was the pond, gone was the tatty old lawn and gone was the tired looking paving. In its place was a circular lawn of lush turf, with a neat perimeter of setts, surrounded by a cottage-garden area complete with a pebble, stone and boulder pathway leading to a rustic wooden bench which was made on site. We suggested to Jim the type of plants we wanted and away he went, returning a couple of hours later with an abundance of them. They were planted in a thoughtful way to create a majestic scene of colour and texture. And before the four left, they cleared up and cleaned up.

So remember, if you have a garden that needs rescuing, you too can call the ‘B Team’! "
